Shipping policy

By placing an order on hama-k.com, you agree to the shipping terms below.

1. Delivery area

We deliver to the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), subject to carrier availability for your postcode.

We do not currently ship internationally. If you are outside the UK, please contact us before ordering.

2. Delivery cost - free UK delivery

UK delivery is free on all orders. The delivery cost shown at checkout is £0 - we do not add hidden delivery fees at the last step.

3. Estimated delivery times

Times below are estimates in working days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays).

Order cutoff time: 2:00 pm (14:00) UK time (London).

  • Orders placed Monday to Friday before 2:00 pm UK time are counted from that same working day for processing.
  • Orders placed after 2:00 pm UK time, or on Saturday, Sunday, or a UK bank holiday, are counted from the next working day for processing.
  • Processing time before dispatch: 1 working day
    (order check, preparation, and handover to the carrier)
  • Transit time after dispatch: 1 to 3 working days
    (once the parcel has left our warehouse)
  • Total estimated delivery time: 2 to 4 working days
    (processing + transit, from the working day your order counts for processing)

Times may be longer during peak periods, carrier disruption, severe weather, or supply-chain delays.

4. Order confirmation and tracking

  • You receive an order confirmation email once payment is complete.
  • You receive a dispatch email with tracking when your order leaves our warehouse.
  • You can also track on Track my order.

If you do not receive emails, check your spam folder and the address used at checkout.

5. Weekend, bank holiday, and late orders

Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday, or a UK bank holiday are processed on the next working day.

Orders placed Monday to Friday after 2:00 pm UK time are also processed from the next working day (see section 3).

6. Multiple parcels

Chest of drawers are bulky. Your order may arrive in more than one parcel on different days - this is normal for furniture. Check all parcels before disposing of packaging.

7. Changing your delivery address

Email contact@hama-k.com before dispatch to change your address. Once handed to the carrier, the address cannot be changed.

8. Cancellation before dispatch

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number to cancel before dispatch.

9. Damaged in transit

Note visible damage with the courier if possible. Inspect the full item and contact us within 48 hours with photos of the damage and packaging. Do not throw away packaging until the item is fully checked.

10. Missing items or parts

If a part is missing (drawer, fitting, hardware), contact us with your order number. We will send the missing part or agree the next step.

11. Not in for delivery

Follow the courier's instructions - they may offer redelivery, a safe place, or a collection point. Large furniture is easier to receive if you can plan ahead. If delivery fails, contact us with your order number and we will help.
